Who we are
Menuatic is operated by Atif Javed Minhas, trading as "Menuatic" ([postal address]). For anything about your information, email [email protected].
Ordered food or goods from a store? The store's own privacy policy, linked at the bottom of every store, explains how your order details are handled. The business you ordered from is responsible for them; we process them on its behalf.
If you contact us through this website
When you send the contact or demo form, we receive what you type in: your name, email, and optionally your phone number, business name, type of business, number of locations, the plan you're interested in and your message. We also record the page you sent it from and your IP address, to protect the form from abuse. We use this only to reply to you.
If your business uses Menuatic
- Account details: your business name, contact email and phone, locations, and the names and emails of the staff you add. Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes.
- Billing: your plan, the invoices we send you and payment references. Card payments from your customers go to your own payment provider account; we store your provider keys encrypted and never see full card numbers.
- Security records: sign-ins and important account changes, with time and IP address, so we can investigate problems.
We use this to provide and support the service, bill for it, keep it secure and meet legal duties. Our Terms of Service explain how we handle your customers' information on your behalf.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or share personal information for advertising. We use a small number of providers to run Menuatic, only as needed and under confidentiality and security duties:
- Server hosting and Cloudflare (network and security) to run the service.
- Brevo to send emails, such as order updates and invoices.
- Google Fonts, which provides the typefaces on this website (your browser fetches them from Google).
Payment and text-message providers (such as Stripe and Twilio) are connected by each business to its own account. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people or the service.
Cookies and browser storage
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The brand admin and stores keep a sign-in token and, in stores, the cart in your browser's storage so they work; clearing your browser data removes them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: while we're talking with you and for a reasonable time afterwards. Business accounts: while the account is active, and for 30 days after it ends so you can export your data; invoices and records we must keep by law are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or for a copy of it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within one business day. If you're in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to not be treated differently for using your rights; we don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Security
Each business's data is kept separate, connections are encrypted, payment keys are encrypted at rest, and sign-in attempts are limited. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your information, we'll tell you without undue delay.
Children
Menuatic is for businesses and is not aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for businesses using Menuatic, email you first.
